Webex is a premium web meeting and conference call service being offered to IEEE SA standards development groups at no cost.
Features of the Webex accounts being offered include:
Up to 1,000 participants in each meeting
- Meet as long as you want
- Call-in for audio with Local international toll numbers
- Desktop, application, file & whiteboard sharing options
- Customizable Personal Room link
- Webex Meetings integrations with other applications
- Join from a video system or application
- Meeting Recording with auto-transcription (meeting recordings should only be used for the purpose of producing minutes and will automatically be deleted after 60 days)
- Allow alternate meeting hosts

WebEx Request Instructions: NEW!
1. Instruct the user to sign up for a free WebEx account at www.webex.com with their email address as username and inform you once signed up.
2. Once the user has signed up and informed you, complete the Account Request Form (for staff use only) and mark in the comment section box "user has signed up".
*If you are having trouble accessing the request form, make sure that you are logged in the Volunteer iMeet Central https://ieee-sa.imeetcentral.com/

To request an account associated with the IEEE SA enterprise, please contact your Program Manager. Accounts will only be assigned to one designated representative per IEEE SA standards development group.
Please allow 3 - 5 business days for your request to be processed. The information provided in your request will be validated against information available in myProject. If your officer role is not assigned in myProject, this may further delay processing of your request.
